Algebra 2 – Graphing Quadratic Functions in Vertex Form
Today we looked at graphing quadratic functions in the Vertex form y=a(x-h)^2+k
1) Find the vertex – ( h , k ) (Hint h is always the opposite sign of what is in the problem and k is always the same sign)
2) Fins the Axis of Symmetry – x = h
3) Find two points on one side of the axis of symmetry
4) Mirror the two points over the axis of symmetry
